In 2010, Pratt Institute paired up with Ralph Pucci for a fashion exhibit like no other! All of these paper garments were designed and constructed by the students! The details are so intricate and amazing. I wonder how many times they ripped and had to start over...

So when I was in college I modeled for another student in the fashion program who had made a dress from mini blinds.  There are so many designers and artists out there creating unique pieces from up-cycled items.  Gary Harvey and Jolis Paons are just two whose work intrigued me. Enjoy!
